The Panther, a 45-tonne tank crucial to Germany in WWII, saw 329 of its Ausf. A and Ausf.G variants transformed into command tanks, dubbed Panzerbefehlswagen, from 1943 to 1945. These vehicles served as battalion and regimental command posts, and for ground-to-air communication. To avoid enemy targeting, they were designed to blend in with regular gun tanks. Retaining the 7.5cm KwK42 L/70 main gun, they lacked the usual coaxial machine gun and featured additional radios, reducing ammunition storage. Now, we present a 1/35 scale kit of a Befehls-Panther Ausf.G, based on the Panther Ausf.G hull, inheriting Dragon's renowned Panther G kit's best aspects. It includes a star antenna, correct mantlet, and DS tracks for easy assembly. Unpainted and may require assembly.
