This is a brand new just arrived from Norway Nisse traditional Porsgrund Nisse Elf Gnome Red and White Covered Tureen used to server the Norwegian traditional Christmas Eve Dinner Porridge. Porsgrunds Porselænsfabrik's fabled pixie lines were drawn in 1898 by the factory owner's 14/15-year-old daughter Sigrid Rachlev. The decor is based on the real Norwegian and playful barn gnomes and has over the years become part of the Norwegian cultural heritage. Every Christmas, the elves appear in thousands of Norwegian homes and create new traditions, generation after generation.
